Neurosurgery is an
ever-challenging field of medicine. Injuries
of the nervous system have a profound impact
on the life of patients and their family and
are probably the most disruptive of all
medical ailments. However, many
neurosurgeons feel happy and proud to help
and support patients with neurosurgical
disorders.
This web site incorporates
much of what I have experienced throughout
my clinical work, it also provide a sensible
approach to the common presenting problems
and I believe that the clinical approach
that I favour is particularly appropriate in
countries where techniqual facilities may
not be optimal or are lacking altogether.
May hope is that, with those
inevitable limitations, this site will be
found useful by those involved in the care
of patients with neurosurgical diseases
throughout the world, as the bases of
neurosurgery are universal.
This web site also provide
sufficient information and description of a
common neurosurgical diseases like pain in
different body parts and therefore this site
enable early access to this information by
many people.
Finally, I would appreciate
the questions, different perspectives and
alternative recommendations that will
improve this web site.
